The Mosaic Company

The Mosaic Company :: 2001-2003 :: Senior Flash Programmer :: Contract

◊ Led a team of developers in the production of approximately 900 interactive simulations for several Microsoft MCSE courseware titles. My contribution on these projects included the design of the program architecture, the creation of Flash development templates and components, and technical direction for 10-12 developers.
◊ Developed an XML driven quiz game prototype for Microsoft, internally referred to as the “2310 Game”. The game was designed to be a completely modular platform – all content apart from the UI is external and defined solely by XML.
◊ Developed several versions of the Microsoft Field Readiness Kit – used for Sales Team training. My contribution included the development of the “FRK engine” – essentially a presentation platform for a variety of modular content – and the templates used by the content development team. Additionally, I developed a free-standing application that enabled content developers to graphically create and edit the XML documents that the FRK engine parses.
